This plate depicts the flagship of Captain Christopher Newport, named THE SUSAN CONSTANT",who brought the first colonist to Virginia in the spring of 1607. (Jamestown just celebrated its 400 Anniversary 2007.) This plate was made in Stafforshire, England. Measures 10" diameter, with no chips or cracks. These 4 military warships are unique! Looking at them from right to left-- 4" warship with "K880" on side. The next one , on bottom has the following "MODIFIED BLACK SWAN CLASS LOOP (BRIT-PG) ,W.A. Framburg & Co., Chicago, 3" in length. The next two are basically the same length, 2 1/2" but one is green and the other is red. Both also are tootsie toys.
