 Antique Spanish Holy Water font made of hand carved soapstone. The wonderful patina glows richly from the years of hands rubbing on the stone, as they dipped into the font's reservoir of holy water. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Size: 10 inches high, 7 inches wide, 3 inches deep. Weight: 2 kilos, 141 grams. (4.5 pounds).

A rare find, this beautifully expressive religious statue is a carved wood, polychrome and gesso Baroque cherub figurine circa mid-1700's. It was bought from the estate of a family that lived for centuries in Brazil and owned a slave plantation there.
