This blackjack dates from the early to mid 1900's and is a small, easily-concealed weapon consisting of a leather-wrapped lead weight attached to the end of a leather-wrapped coil spring. The strap on the end opposite the weight wraps around the wrist.

This rare Inuit seal skin bird was made around 1890. It is a fine example of the sort of toy the Inuit of West Greenland handcrafted using skin scraps. Children learned from their mothers how to process skins and also made toy figurines of people and animals to play with.

Inuit hand carved, articulated wooden doll from West Greenland (Kalaallit Nunaat in Inuit language). This is an 1861 percussion knife-gun made in Sheffield England by Unwin Rogers. The 3 3/8 inch octagonal barrel is German silver and has English proof marks. The bore is about 32 cal. This large size boot pistol with walnut grips doesn't have any markings, but from the style appears to be USA made. The under-hammer percussion pistols were popular because the triggers didn't get caught when withdrawing them from their hiding place in a gentleman's boot. This mid- 1800's under-hammer percussion boot or muff pistol with walnut grips does not have any maker's mark, but by the style appears to have been made in the USA by Tiffany and Gibbs. The under-hammer was useful because the hammer didn't get snagged when removed from muff or boot. The barrel is 5 inches long and about 32 cal. overall length is 8 3/4 inches and it weighs 13.1 ounces. The bore has minor surface rust, but overall the pistol is in very good shape and in working condition.

This very unusual double barrel pin-fire muff or vest pocket pistol has a folding knife attached to the top of the barrels. The triggers pop into position when the hammer is cocked and can be fired one barrel at a time or both at once. Circa 1840, probably Belgian or French in origin. The barrels are 4 1/2 inches long and approx. 40 cal. Overall length is 9 inches, weight is 17.7 ounces, the blade is 3 3/4 inches long. In great working condition.

This Indian skinning knife is a rare Cree artifact. It has a wooden handle and a hand forged blade that was probably made out of an old discarded file. An embroidered ribbon was attached to the knife to keep the tool handy as it was carried around. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
