This rare Inuit seal skin bird was made around 1890. It is a fine example of the sort of toy the Inuit of West Greenland handcrafted using skin scraps. Children learned from their mothers how to process skins and also made toy figurines of people and animals to play with.

Dimensions: 3 ½ inches high, 1 ¾ inches wide, weight ½ ounce. Please note that this item cannot be shipped to the USA.
