This handmade Bear Claw Shell Dish Shell dish is a spectacular work of art by a very fine Canadian potter named Jan Sells. Her dishes are not only decorative, they are also functional so you can bake a gourmet entree, serve it in style, then when you are not using the dish you can display it on your coffee table as a piece of art!
Jan's gourmet pottery seashell dinnerware is individually handmade out of high-fired porcelain clay and her colours do not fade.

About the artist: Jan is a self-taught potter who was born and raised in the coastal community of Campbell River on Northern Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. The ocean has always been a great source of inspiration for her and that is why she started making her seashell pottery over 20 years ago and eventually developed her unique line of artistic dinnerware.
