Up for auction, a Fire King jadeite batter mixing bowl, with a ¾" band at the top. It is marked on the bottom as follows:OVEN Fire-King WARE MADE IN THE U.S.A. Circa 1951 - 1960. It measures 4" tall, 7 ½" in diameter at the top, 9 ½" from the handle to the lip, and 4" in diameter at the bottom. No chips, cracks, stains, or flea bites. It has been used, but not abused. Please look at the pictures for details. Still has a beautiful jadite luster after all these years. It is clean, and shiny. Deep rich jade-ite green in color. There are white "specks" and straw marks which occur during the molding process and is common for this Fire-King Jadite line of glassware. Guaranteed vintage. Not a reproduction! Make a great addition, for the collector of Fire-King glassware. Would fit in with any jade glassware.
