Antique Apple Copper Kettle with a cast iron bail handle.
Bail is held on with brass rivets
The end of the bail looks like a rats tail.
Markings - Hallmark:
PAT.APR.27.1869. MARCH.15.1870.
Circa:
1869 - 1870.
Measurements:
11 ½" in diameter at the top.
8" in diameter at the bottom.
8" tall.
Condition:
No dents, dings, holes, tears or other damage to the kettle.
Bail handle does have rust, nothing major.
Used but far from being abused.
It should polish up with some good ole elbow grease.
You may want to leave the patina of the copper.
Excellent condition for being 136 years old!
A true antique.
