I have no idea what this is for sure but it could have been a tip tray, a collectors plate, almost anything? I can only make
out the letters, JS in a shield, on the back and Liberty on the front.
The material looks like that of an old penny, as you can see. Rare? It weighs 1 lb 9 0z. and is 6 inches wide and 5/8 inch from bottom to top edge. Found at an estate sale in Wahington DC area. Age unknown.

This is a beautiful old set of old brass. It is signed only on the nut cracker
looking piece, with two words, Rossi and Italy. I have not found any information
on these pieces. When I received these, they were covered in spots with a thick varnish like substance. They were very dark, dirty and ugly. The only thing that I found that would clean them up was Brasso.
There are 5 pieces and I will guess the age at pre 1900 until I find out anything different.

A beautiful brass kettle with a copper shamrocks design. One of the copper pieces is different and I believe that may be a makers mark of whom I have not been able to identify. I have no way of identifying the date of manufacture so it is a pre 2000.
