Portieux Vallerystahl PV DOLPHIN Footed FISH BOWL COMPORT

This is a beautiful, vintage, hard to find, milk glass Dolphin Footed Bowl or Comport made by Portieux Vallerystahl PV. The beautiful dolphin resembles a dragon. This Dolphin Footed piece has a satin finish on the outside. The bowl is shiny inside. It is not signed. It is listed in a 1933 catalog as Globe à poisons sur pied dauphin à cótes vénitiennes, uni 1608(1 litre ½ à 6 litres ½). One interpretation is Fish bowl on dolphin foot (or base) with Venetian sides, item 1608. It could have been made earlier. It measures 11 inches tall. The Bowl diameter is approximately 7 1/2 inches.
