This wonderful butterfly pin is a signed piece by Vendome. It measures approximately 2 3/8" x 1 1/2", and is textured goldtone with enameling in white and frosty gold. My photos don't do it justice, it is much more sparkly in person, and a little more on the YELLOW-gold side, as far as color goes. I've had this piece for quite awhile now, and just noticed that the antennae are missing! This cute little Steiff Fox was in production from 1957-1970, is made of mohair, and is 4.72" tall. The backs of his ears are veleveteen, and graduate in color from tan to dark brown. He does not have his Steiff tag or button, but he has been positively identified as a German Steiff animal. This adorable Xorry Fox, in mint condition, lists in the reference books for $200-$265. This special little horse planter is very unique. The picture says it all! He measures approx. 5 3/4" tall x 5 1/2" long, and is marked underneath "Japan" along with a horseshoe insignia. He has some crazing, and a tiny factory imperfection on the tip of his ear, which is underneath the glaze.
