This heavy ceramic Humpty Dumpty bank appears to be made by one of the California pottery companies of the 1940s, possibly California Cleminsons. It has a coin slot on it's back, and a very small hole on the bottom, probably better for use as a display piece rather than an actual coin bank. The original stopper is missing. Humpty measures approx. 4" tall. S&H is an additional $5.00 within the continental U ...click for details

This little Hobo bank is collecting coins for his retirement fund. Made in the late 1960s, these rather inexpensive ceramic banks with hair accents were really popular. This guy still has his original "Dabs Japan" sticker affixed to his bottom. The original rubber stopper is still intact also, but it is rock hard. He does have a few chips, as is common with these banks from this era. (See photos for condition). He measures 7" tall.

This exceptional Raggedy Ann carnival chalkware bank measures a large 12 1/2" tall. She has just a few tiny flea bites on her shoes, but is in overall fantastic condition, especially for a piece of chalkware. Her paint is beautiful, as you can see from my photos. She has a large coin slot in the back of her head, and another round spot on the base of her back which says "open" - you're supposed to crack the bank open at this spot in order to get the coins out. Luckily, she was ...click for details
