This wonderful and unusual pin is enamel, goldtone and rhinestones. Pegasus, the winged horse, is a good sized pin, measuring approx. 2 1/4" long x 2" high. The pin is much nicer in person than what my picture shows. The placement of the rhinestones, especially, is very tasty, they are on his mane and bridal, in a line across his midsection, and again in two lines on his tail. All the rhinestones are intact, and the pinback remains unbent and in perfect working order. ...click for details

This interesting novelty pin features a man with a hat carrying two buckets, which dangle from his "pole". I don't know the significance, but one pant leg is rolled up. (perhaps some water spilled from his bucket? :o) )He has some nice details, including a texturing on his shirt and an intersting face - hard to see in my photos. I believe this very unusual pin to be from the Georgian era, but am not positive. It measures approx. 2 5/8" across and is made of what appears to be steel and an amethyst stone set in the center. It has a "C" clasp and an early Tube hinge on the reverse, and is just beautiful! The clasp and hinge are in perfect working condition, although the "pin" itself is a tiny bit bent. This beautiful Christmas Tree pin was made in the late 1960s by MYLU, a holiday division of Coro Jewelry. It features ruby red, white, and green rhinestones set into a goldtone setting. It measures 2 1/2" tall x 1 7/8" wide. There is a similar, more common version of this pin which contains only red and green rhinestones and is shorter in length.
