1958 Woody Woodpecker SIMPLEX SHOES "MARCH OF COMICS"

This neat little comic, with artwork by Walter Lantz, was a shoe store giveaway to customers who purchased SIMPLEX FLEXIES, a line of shoes made especially for children. The comic is in excellent condition, with a tiny, less than 1/4" tear that extends through from the front cover to the back (you can barely detect it - see scan), and light bends to the back cover. The comic appears to have been handled sparingly, the cover is glossy and bright, and the pages are clean and crisp. Measures 5" x 7 1/4".
