Noisy Book by Margaret Wise Brown, illustratd by Leonard Weisgard, published 1939 by Harper & Row, Publishers, N.Y. & Evanston, 1st printing, 42 pages, illustrated hardcover, 7 3/16" x 8 14/16". A real cute story about a little dog named Muffin who gets a cinder in his eye. A doctor bandages up his eyes, and Muffin must now rely on his other senses to explore the city. The illustrations by Leonard Weisgard are very colorful & quite modern for 1939. Condition: The pages are very good, with some light stains & pencil marks here & there, but nothing major. The cover is in good condition, with some small wear around the edges and some slight staining. The worst part is a coffee cup ring on the front which may be able to be cleaned off.
