SANTA IN CHIMNEY Paper Advertising DisplayFor L-O-F GLASS FIBERS COMPANY What a neat 1950s/60s era Christmas themed Advertising Display! It is made of cardboard, with cool graphics and fiberglass attached as the snow and santa's beard and costume accents. The bottom portion of the Santa piece advertises the L-O-F Glass Fibers Company - this was probably sent out to their customers as a promotional piece of some sort. It seems a bit of an oddity to make an item like this with fiberglass accents - the friendly santa invites you to touch him, but fiberglass can be irritating to the skin, so it is best displayed out of reach of children's fingers. When assembled it stands approx. 18" and makes a great display. The condition is very good, but Santa is missing his fiberglass trim on the right hand sleeve. The insert tabs are creased also, as you can see in the photo - it might benefit from a little tape reinforcement.
