Most Collectible Disney Record Series-Superior Pressing - Disneyland WDL-4007 Wow! This 1956 pressing of the Disney Sountrack CINDERELLA is from the highly coveted WDL-4000 Series. This series is by far the most collectible of the Disney records. They were initially targeted at the adult market, with superior pressings and superior lithographed covers. Many collectors buy this series for the near-cell quality artwork alone. This is a nice example of this impossible to find LP. The cover is in good condition, with some light staining and wear, and one cover split along top that measures 2" long. The paper along the spine is beginning to split a little. The back cover has some light browning/spotting (see photo). You can see in my close up scan if you look very hard, there is some very light spotting near and around the castle on the front cover. You will see that despite these slight blemishes, the front cover makes a magically beautiful display! The colors remain vibrant with no fading. Upon visual inspection, the vinyl is in gorgeous condition. It is glossy and shiny, and free from obvious scratches, unlike most children's LPs. Upon audio testing, it plays in good condition, with clicks and pops throughout, but still very listenable. The book value for this LP in NM condition is $225, as listed in the 1997 "Golden Age of Disney Records" book by R. Michael Murray. Here is your chance to get this wonderful piece of classic Disneyana at a great price! S&H is an additional $7.00 within the continental U.S. International shipping is also available.
