1978 BEATRIX POTTER Lady Mouse SCHMID MUSIC BOX

Made by Schmid in 1978, this lovely ceramic Beatrix Potter Music Box features Lady Mouse, and plays the song "Hello Dolly". It measures approx. 6 3/4" tall, and the musical mechanism works beautifully. There is one chip on the underside of the back of Lady Mouse's dress, which is hard to see unless you are looking from underneath (see close up). It is marked "Beatrix Potter" in incised writing on the side. Has a "Schmid" paper label on the bottom, and "c. F. Warne and Co., New York and London, 1978" is printed on the wooden base panel.
