Jack SKELLINGTON Nightmare Before Christmas MARIONETTE

This unique Jack Skellington marionette puppet is based on the main character from the 1993 Tim Burton / Disney stop motion animation masterpiece, THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS! It was purchased in the mid 90s from a Tim Burton fan/artist, who made this from hand painted wood. The one detail that is not evident in my photos is Jack's head - it is contoured and more 3-dimensional than my photos show. Jack stands approx. 19 1/2" tall (25 1/2" including the strings and wooden controller). He is not what I would call a "professional" marionette, but rather, a wonderful collector's piece that makes a great display!
