This vintage turn of the century postcard commemorates President George Washington. The publisher is unknown, but the card was printed in Germany. This postcard shows George Washington mounted on a white horse, Mount Vernon, and Washington's Tomb.
The front of this embossed postcard reads: A Life without a Stain; a Fame without a Flaw - Thackwray.
The card measures approx. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" and is in Very Good condition with bumped corners and some very light wear along the edges. There is a small, dark stain at the bottom right corner over the letter "w" in the word "Flaw." The card also has a divided back, and is postmarked 10:30 A.M., Feb 22, 1910, Binghamton, NY.
