How is it possible that somebody owned this game and never played with it!!! An incredible find for fans of the sci-fi Planet of the Apes films, this game was inspired buy the short-lived 1974 TV show starring Roddy McDowall.
Made by the Milton Bradley Co., the object of this game of survival is to avoid being captured and caged by the apes, and to have the last remaining human.
Condition: This game has never been used. The cage and human playing pieces are still unpunched, attached to the original boards. The dice, player piece stands and spinning mechanism are still in the original sealed plastic bag. There is a piece of the spinning mechanism that is made of sponge which has deteriorated over the years and will need to be replaced. The playing board is in Near Mint condition. The box has no tears, but has some light staining along the edges.
This is a RARE chance to own a NEVER USED Planet of the Apes board game. These are very hard to find in such great condition!
