Marked PATENT PALMER BACHELDERS&CO PURE COIN. Engraving in bowl. Length 9-1/8". Bowl length 3-1/2";width 2-3/4". Weight 2.9 troy ounces. There is an Old English F monogram on the back of the handle. Mark and overall condition are excellent (slight roughness on left edge of bowl).

Marked PATENT A.SKINNER PURE COIN. Alvah Skinner was a Boston jeweler. Length 9". Blade length 4-1/4";width 2-11/16". Weight 2.4 troy ounces. The monogram is an Old English D on the top of the handle. Overall and mark condition are excellent. Nice engraving on the top of the blade.

Upper body and handle have decorative pierced designs. Top edge of body has fine beading. Height to top of handle 4-1/2". Diameter 3-3/4". Weight 2.4 troy ounces. The monogram on the side is a script HEB. Overall and mark condition are excellent. The mark is M in a shield flanked by birds/STERLING/A30. Probably made about 1910.

Revere-style. Top diameter 9-3/4". Base diameter 5-1/4". Height 5". Weight 38.2 troy ounces (heavy). The monogram on one side is a large decorative script JMTC and on the other 1938. These inscriptions could be erased. Overall and mark condition are excellent.

Marked W and 3 pseudohallmarks. Shells on front and back of handle and on the heel (drop). Fiddle thread. Length 13-1/8". Bowl is 4" across and 3-1/4" from front to back. The monogram is an Old English K on the top of the handle. Overall and mark condition are excellent. Wongshing worked in Canton in the first half of the 19th century. This is the best Chinese soup ladle we have ever owned. We have scans of the shells as well as the illustration here of the entire ladle.
