Downturned handle with rounded end. Long modeled drop. Length 8-3/4". Weight 1-2/3 troy ounces. The script monogram on the top of the handle is LB. Overall condition is very good (a little tip wear; slight curl could be repaired); mark condition is excellent.

Downturned handle with oval end and tipt with 7/8" midrib on the back. Long crescent drop. Length 9-3/8". Weight 2 troy ounces. The monogram is a script MVC lengthwise on the top of the handle. Overall condition is excellent (2 minor cuts on the bottom of the bowl); mark condition is excellent.

Shell drop on heel, downturned handle. Length 8-5/8". Weight 2 troy ounces. The monogram is a block EH on the top of the handle. The overall condition is excellent (but appears to have been buffed). Mark condition is excellent. Marked twice with Fales' mark 32d in her book on the Richardsons. This is the first piece we have seen with downturned handle and the mark of Joseph Richardson, Sr.; it must have been made at the end of his career.
