Shell drop on heel, downturned handle. Length 8-5/8". Weight 2 troy ounces. The monogram is a block EH on the top of the handle. The overall condition is excellent (but appears to have been buffed). Mark condition is excellent. Marked twice with Fales' mark 32d in her book on the Richardsons. This is the first piece we have seen with downturned handle and the mark of Joseph Richardson, Sr.; it must have been made at the end of his career.
