Marked W&H in rectangle on bottom. Repousse. On four feet. Height to top of handle 5-1/4"; of body 4-5/8". Mouth diameter 3-3/8". Weight 7.6 troy ounces. There is a very light script monogram in the reserve on the front: Mary Elizabeth Carlisle. Overall and mark condition are excellent.

Clips on bowl. Shallow circular bowl with + and . piercing. Marked OTIS in a rectangle (Kane mark A). Bowl diameter 4-1/8". Length over handle 5-1/4". Weight 2 troy ounces. The monogram on the top of the handle is B/MA. Overall and mark condition are excellent (has the handle been reattached?). In general, this strainer form is earlier than the kind with two long handles that reach over the sides of a punch bowl.
