Engraved foliate design on front of both; slice also has fisherman in boat. Length of slice 12-1/4". Length of fork 9-5/8". The monogram is a script RB on the front. Weight of pair 5 troy ounces. Marked GEARY&WEALE (retailer?). Mark condition very good. Overall condition excellent - minor nicks, probably to test silver.

Engine-turned design on front and back, and on hinged lid. Marked on bezel with AC in a diamond and other usual pseudohallmarks. Mark condition excellent. Height 3-3/4". Width 2-1/2". Depth 1/4". Weight 1-3/4 troy ounces. The monogram is a script "Mrs. Fulton" in a reserve on the front. Minor dents, condition otherwise excellent.

Applied fine beading at top and base; single scroll handle. Bottom flares out; convex band near the base. Marked BIGELOW BROS&KENNARD/Pure Silver Coin. Height of handle 3-1/2". Diameter of mouth 2-5/8"; of base 2-7/8". Weight 3.4 troy ounces. Monogram on the front in the engraved reserve - script Heman Winthrop. Overall and mark condition are excellent.

Marked M.P in a rectangle, plus three pseudohallmarks (anchor, star, head facing right). Maltby Pelletreau, New York, circa 1830. Bust and name are near end of handle. Shell on heel. Double swell, rounded fins. Length 5-7/8". No monogram. Mark condition very good to good-. Overall condition is good- because the bust of Washington is rubbed.

Repousse leaves. Single scroll decorated handle. Applied base includes 1/4" decorative banding. Height 4-3/4". Mouth diameter 3". Base diameter 2-3/4". Weight 5.6 troy ounces. No monogram. Overall and mark condition are excellent.

Pointed end, tipt, no drop. Length 5-1/2". Marked with a script AS in an ellipse and 13 in a rectangle. The monogram is a script J Sch. engraved in direction of handle end. Overall and mark condition are excellent (tip mint; a couple of very minor dents in the bowl).

Fiddle, round fins, drop. Length 5-1/2". The monogram is a script WFB (definitely surname B; not sure of the other letters). Overall and mark condition are excellent.

Bright cut, tipt on back, pointed arch drops. Length 5-1/2". Weight of the six is 2.4 troy ounces. There is a block monogram PA in a reserve. Overall condition is excellent (very minor toothmarks in bowl of one spoon). The mark is W.G.Forbes and two pseudohallmarks (see McGrew pages 111 & 129). The condition of the marks varies from very good to good.

Marked three times on bottom. This distinctive J:B mark is attributed tentatively by Yale to J. Bard of PA. J.Bard of Philadelphia, c.1800, is listed in books by Thorn, Okie, and Ensko, but no mark is illustrated. Acquired from a source that says it came from a family that also had a Baltimore beaker...
