The monogram on the top of the blade is an Old English EP in an elliptical reserve. This is for Elizabeth Parsons who married Dr. George Derby in Cambridge, MA in 1864. Overall and mark condition are excellent.

Downturned fiddle, chamfered rounded fins, tipt. Length 7-1/4", weight 14 dwt. The monogram is a lengthwise script C.C.Morton. Overall condition is excellent except that the handle has been skillfully repaired. Mark condition is excellent (JBS in a circle and P in an octagon as well as R.A.BAIRD in a rectangle). Rare.

Sharp fins. Length 5-3/4". The monogram is a script SH. Overall condition is excellent. Mark condition is very good.

Rounded fins, shell on back of bowl. Length 5-7/8". No monogram. Mark condition is excellent. Overall condition is excellent except that the shell on the back of the bowl is somewhat worn and there are a couple of minor dents in the bowl.

Rounded fins. Retailed by George Swortfiguer of Schenectady, NY. Length 5-1/2". The monogram is a lengthwise script EW. Overall condition is excellent (minor dents in bowl). Mark condition is very good.

No fins. The mark is HUTTTON in a rectangle (not sure whether this is a rare typo mark or whether it is doublestruck). Length 5-5/8". The monogram is a lengthwise script JMP. Overall and mark condition are excellent (other than the mark anomaly mentioned above).

Downturned handle, fiddle, sharp fins. Crescent roulettework incised drop. Length 5-3/8". The monogram is a lengthwise script ME. Overall and mark condition are excellent.

Engraved foliate design on front of both; slice also has fisherman in boat. Length of slice 12-1/4". Length of fork 9-5/8". The monogram is a script RB on the front. Weight of pair 5 troy ounces. Marked GEARY&WEALE (retailer?). Mark condition very good. Overall condition excellent - minor nicks, probably to test silver.

Shaped and pierced blade has engraved fish surrounded by engraved foliate design. Flat handle - a bead pattern. Length 12". Weight 4.4 troy ounces. The monogram on the back of the handle is a script E.W.S to G.&R.B. Overall condition is excellent. Mark condition is good-.

Fiddle, fins. Drops. Length 9-1/4". Weight 1.9 troy ounces each. There is a script monogram which I can't read (JPL?). Overall condition is very good (very slight tip wear); mark condition varies from excellent to very good.
