Pointed end, tipt on back. Length 4-5/8". The monogram is a block M(pellet)E on the top of the handle. Overall and mark condition are excellent.

Two tines, slightly spread. Prominently tipt on back. Length 5-1/8". No monogram. Mark and overall condition are excellent.

Marked I.T. in a rectangle, uncrowned leopard's head, and a P (see McGrew, page 119). Length 5-7/8". The monogram is a lengthwise script CS (superimposed). Overall and mark condition are excellent (minor dents in bowl).

Pattern introduced 1893, now obsolete. Bowl is gilded. Length 6-5/8". The monogram is an Old English J(?). Overall and mark condition are excellent.

Demitasse size. One says WASHINGTON on the shank and has the U.S. capitol in the bowl; the other is of the Parthenon in Athens and is 800 silver. No monograms. The first is sterling. Overall and mark condition are excellent. Note: the third spoon in the photo, Providence, RI, has been sold.

Early fiddle with small, chamfered fins. Maker's mark in a rectangle. Length 5-3/4". The monogram is a script SM. Overall and mark condition are excellent.

Rounded fins. Retailed by George Swortfiguer of Schenectady, NY. Length 5-1/2". The monogram is a lengthwise script EW. Overall condition is excellent (minor dents in bowl). Mark condition is very good.

Printed in Welsh in 1840, translated into English and reprinted in 1978. Paperback. 52 pages. Describes Welsh settlements in OH, PA, and NY. Gives copious advice to potential Welsh immigrants. A rare and high-quality history of Welsh settlements in this country.
