Downturned fiddle, no fins, drop, tipt on back. Length 6". The monogram is a lengthwise script SM (nice engraving). Overall condition is excellent (near mint). Mark condition is very good (C Davison in a rectangle, and an eagle looking right in a horizontal ellipse - see McGrew page 88).

Upturned handle, fiddle, tipt on top, rounded fins. Marked PREMIUM/ SIGOURNEY&HITCHCOCK /PURE COIN. Length 5-13/16". Overall and mark condition are excellent (near mint).

Rounded fins. Retailed by George Swortfiguer of Schenectady, NY. Length 5-1/2". The monogram is a lengthwise script EW. Overall condition is excellent (minor dents in bowl). Mark condition is very good.

No fins. The mark is HUTTTON in a rectangle (not sure whether this is a rare typo mark or whether it is doublestruck). Length 5-5/8". The monogram is a lengthwise script JMP. Overall and mark condition are excellent (other than the mark anomaly mentioned above).

Blades marked STAINLESS ITALY, handles apparently unmarked but appear to be solid silver. Length 7". No monogram. Overall and mark condition are excellent.

Overall condition of the spoon is excellent except for a small tear at the base of the bowl. Notes: (1)this mark of J.GORHAM&SON, all in caps, is not illustrated in Carpenter, Belden, or Flynt & Fales (2) this is really a pair, but the second spoon has two small tears in the bowl and the bowl needs regulating...

Many forks, some knives and spoons. Some hand made by Gebelein, others major manufacturers. Set illustrated is by Lunt. Forks illustrated were hand made by Gebelein in the 1930's, still in mint condition.
