Chased floral design all around. Single scroll handle. Marked CURRY&PRESTON in a serrated rectangle. Height of handle 4-1/8"; of body 3-1/2". Diameter of mouth 3-1/4"; of base 2-1/8". Weight 5-1/4 troy ounces (relatively heavy). The monogram on the front in a reserve is a script M.C.P./July 23rd/1829. Engraved foliate and bird engraving on bowl, which is affixed to the stem with a bolt. Stem is 3 twisted strands of (silver) bamboo. Stem surmounted by foliate pieces to hold bowl. Base is chased with what appear to be roots. Height 9-3/4". Bowl diameter 3-5/8". Weight 11-1/2 troy ounces. No monogram. Overall and mark condition are excellent.
