Traditional form with keyhole handle. Diameter 4-3/4". Length over handle 7-1/8". Height 1-3/4". Weight 8.45 troy ounces. Inscription around the narrow outflaring outside edge "ALICE ARMSTRONG HOWE FROM NATHANIEL HORTON BATCHELDER,JR." [could be erased]. Overall and mark condition are excellent. (Batchelder was born 2/9/1917 in Hartford, CT and died 3/2/2005 in Barnstable, MA).

Flares at top. Applied ring base. Applied molded top reinforcing ring. Diameter 6-1/2". Height 4". /Weight 13-1/2 troy ounces. Presentation inscription on the side (could be erased) as follows: 1913-1938/A Token of Appreciation/of outstanding services/to/Emma Knodel/from/the Trustees of/The Irvington Public Library. (Irvington, NY). Overall and mark condition are excellent. The SSS mark was used only briefly by the Arthur Stone shop, about 1938.

Sometimes called traveler's spoon. In three sections with two hinges, tablespoon on one end, teaspoon on the other, pierced center section. Engraved on back of tablespoon: Charles F. Windisch. He was a brewer in Cincinnati.
