Tablespoon by John Burger, NYC, c.1800

Oval end, downturned handle, bright cut, drop,tipt on back. Mark is Burger in a rectangle and the bust of a bird looking to viewer's right. Length is 9-1/4". Weight 1.8 troy ounces. Overall condition is good (some tip wear); mark condition is fair (bird excellent).
