Mug, Chinese Export, by Khecheong (KHC)

Bamboo motif on matte ground. Applied "rope" banding at top and bottom. Single scroll handle. Height 2-11/16". Top diameter 1-7/8". Base diameter 2-1/8". Weight 4 troy ounces. The monogram is an Old English M on the front in a slightly elliptical reserve. The mark consists of KHC and three pseudohallmarks, and is in very good condition. Overall condition is excellent. Mid-19th century.
