Pair of teaspoons by James Watts, Phila., c.1850's

Upturned handles, fiddle, sharp fins tipt on top. Length 5-5/8". The monogram is a script ECAS(?). See McGrew, p.115, die 2 for horse & chevron maker's mark. Retailed by BECHTEL&ENO of Philadelphia. Overall and mark condition are very good (bowls need a little regulating).
