Soup ladle by Maltby Pelletreau, NY, circa 1830's

Fiddle, no fins, drop, tipt on back. Length 13-7/8". Bowl width 4-3/16"; front to back 3-1/2". Weight 5-1/3 troy ounces. The monogram is a lengthwise script JRH. Overall and mark condition are excellent.
