Sugar tongs by John Burger, NYC, circa 1790's

Bright cut, small elliptical grips. Marked inside each arm, including an eagle that is probably a journeyman's mark. Length 6-3/8". The monogram at the bow is a script SC. Overall and mark condition are excellent.
