Soup ladle by Gorham, Cottage pattern, introduced 1861

Marked PATENT 1861 and also CROSBY&MORSE (Boston retailer). Length 12-5/8" (the large size). Weight 6.6 troy ounces. The monogram on the back of the handle is an Old English E. Mark and overall condition are excellent.
