Paris, first standard (950 silver). Length 8-1/4". Weight 2.9 troy ounces each. Monogram ABS on back of handle, presumably for Simes family. Story, from reliable former owner, that these were given to the Simes family by Lafayette on his 19th C. tour of the U.S., as thanks for a horse that the family had given him. Overall condition is very good (a little tip wear); mark condition varies from excellent to fair. These are priced at the approximate scrap value of the silver.
