Centerpiece bowl by Meriden Brittania; CT; circa 1890's

Sterling. Elliptical with ornate applied decoration. Length 15-3/4"; width 11-1/2"; Height 2" at ends. Weight 21.1 troy ounces. No monogram. Overall and mark condition are excellent. Could be used as a large bread tray.
