"THE THINKER" Brass Bookends are a very rare find. There are quite a few "Thinker" bookends in metal, but BRASS are rare. These are in EXCEPTIONAL condition, considering they are 80+ years old! The price is for the pair. They are approximately 7" tall. The base measures approximately 4 inches x 3 inches. Very nice pierced Brass Trivet, made in India. A unique piece with the tea light attached to the 3 curved feet underneath the plate. There is also a handle for ease of handling. Will keep sauces, butter, etc. warm while enjoying. This trivet is 9" in length and 5 1/4" wide. When not in use, it will hang flat against the wall. The brass does need to be polished. There is a small spot that shows in the pictures. Brasso will take care of that.
