Jardiniere, (ornamental planter), with squared form, swelled sides, low rectangular mouth and tab side handles. Small block feet, turquoise ground with embossed floral sprig in purple and turquoise. This vintage jardiniere is 4 1/2" tall, with no chips, cracks, etc. I do not have this dated yet, but I suspect in the 1940's or before. Has stood it little ground for over 65 years!!

Found this beautiful little girl at an auction. I had not ever seen the Puss-N-Boots cookie jar. It is truly spectacular. Decorated with a pink bow, an abundance of pretty, dainty flowers, painted tail that curls around the front, blue ribbon around her paws and lots of gold trimming. She is marked on the bottom, "Puss-N-Boots". Look at my pictures, they will show more detail. Puss-N-Boots is approximately 10" tall and 20" diameter. The cookie storage (bottom) is app ...click for details

Made in Japan by Otagiri, this jar with a hinged cover is hand crafted. This is one of the best locking containers I have ever seen. When you unlatch it, the lid bursts open. Excellent seal. This is also a contradiction to the knowledge I have on Japanese wares. The ring aound the lid of the container is marked Made In Japan. The foil sticker on the bottom reads, HAND CRAFTED Otagiri, Japan. This container stands 7 1/2" tall and 13" round. Very gently used. Perfect condition.

Found this vase at an estate sale. There are no markings on it, but you can tell it is hand-painted. The workmanship is of poor quality, but it is a beautiful vase. It stands 10 1/2 inches tall. The neck is 9" round, with the body of the vase being 17 3/4inches at the widest spot. It has a crackle look to the porcelain.
