This was a very unique find. I knew this was some type of magnifying glass, but that was all. This type of glass is most difficult to find and one encased like this with felt on the bottom, is RARE indeed. Bought at an estate sale several years ago, it has been a knick-knack in my office. One day, my friend's 91-year-old mom noticed it. She told us that "it was used in schools to help the blind children read". This was probably one of the first examples of "READING GLASSES"...

Jardiniere, (ornamental planter), with squared form, swelled sides, low rectangular mouth and tab side handles. Small block feet, turquoise ground with embossed floral sprig in purple and turquoise. This vintage jardiniere is 4 1/2" tall, with no chips, cracks, etc. I do not have this dated yet, but I suspect in the 1940's or before. Has stood it little ground for over 65 years!!

Signed Coffee Cup and Saucer, Susie Cooper fine bone china, is part of a dinner set c. 1950. I have not been able to locate the pattern. Not as collectible as her early hand painted art deco pieces, it is an original Cooper design. These are not pieces that were sold on an individual basis, but could be replacements. I have had this set on display. It is a very pretty piece. Perfect condition. Thanks for looking!

Big, Bold & Beautiful!! Love this clunky cuff bracelet loaded with fabulous synthetic stones! Although I cannot find a signature or maker's mark, perhaps someone can help me identify this piece. Gold-tone cuff bracelet is approximately 7" in diameter. The "Maltese cross-type" design with the inset stones makes me think this bracelet is fashioned after the "Maltese cross" designs of the 1970's...
