Very nice pierced Brass Trivet, made in India. A unique piece with the tea light attached to the 3 curved feet underneath the plate. There is also a handle for ease of handling. Will keep sauces, butter, etc. warm while enjoying. This trivet is 9" in length and 5 1/4" wide. When not in use, it will hang flat against the wall. The brass does need to be polished. There is a small spot that shows in the pictures. Brasso will take care of that.

Noritake dessert plate in the Midsummer Pattern #8762. Bold black flowers make this pattern eye-catching. Plate measures 8" and in perfect condition. I think there are more of these, but have not found them yet. Thanks for looking.

Occupied Japan Hand Painted Plate Art. Marked Occupied Japan and AIYO China, it was made 1946-1950. Some of the gold trim on the front has been worn off and there is a scratch on the back. It shows up in the pictures. It is also pierced on the back for hanging. Such a peaceful, tranquil scene with the Cherry Blossoms in bloom. Other than the above mentioned items, this Occupied Japan decorative vintage Plate is a very nice accent anywhere.

This 10" plate shows a long ago scene of rural America, by Currier and Ives. From research, I have discovered that this is also an Avon Award. It was awarded to Avon Representatives for their service in 1977. I did not think there were any markings on the plate until I learned that little tidbit. Hand decorated Porcelain vase, made pre-war in Japan, is being offered for sale. Marking for Japan is made into the bottom of the porcelain. It is a smooth creamy color, with gold throughout. The scene on the front, within the gold circle, feels rough to the touch. Almost as if it were lightly sanded. No chips or cracks. Would be in pristine condition, except some of the gold has rubbed off the bottom left side of the circle. Vase is 6 1/2" tall and 9 1/2" round.

Made in Japan by Otagiri, this jar with a hinged cover is hand crafted. This is one of the best locking containers I have ever seen. When you unlatch it, the lid bursts open. Excellent seal. This is also a contradiction to the knowledge I have on Japanese wares. The ring aound the lid of the container is marked Made In Japan. The foil sticker on the bottom reads, HAND CRAFTED Otagiri, Japan. This container stands 7 1/2" tall and 13" round. Very gently used. Perfect condition.
