VINTAGE OPALS & RUBIES-18k LADIES RING

EXQUISITE COCKTAIL RING, dating C.1930-1940, with rubies and opals. White fiery opals and vibrant rubies are bezel set in 18k gold. The underside of the ring has intricate swirls of gold, a very nice backing for this lovely ring. The outer part of the ring has eight rubies, above that, in between the rubies, there are eight opals. On the row above that, another eight smaller rubies. A single ruby sits on top. This beautiful ring comes in the original box. This box is also an exquisite beauty, brown leather, gold trim and a snap to hold it closed. When you open the ring box, it folds out flat. Red satin and brown velvet inside completes the look. Wonderful piece of vintage jewelry with original ring box!
