VINTAGE CASTLECLIFF GOLD-TONE ENAMEL BRACELET
$210.00 INCLUDES FREE INSURED SHIPPING USA
A rare piece of collectible jewelry. CASTLECLIFF jewelry was founded by Clifford Furst and Joseph Bolday in NYC. It was a highly respected name in the jewelry industry. Its beauty was just as "highly prized" by women then, as it is by those "lucky" enough to find a piece now. Sold only in the finest department stores, Castlecliff was impeccably produced in BOLD, YET STARTLING INTRICATE DESIGNS. Obvious quality, even to the untrained eye. 1977 Jewelers circular lists Castlecliff under Carnegie Industry Company. In the late 1980's, company was taken over by Lucien Picard Industries, which included Pierre Cardin. There is a vintage ad at "Amber's Attic" that shows a piece called "Bramble Branches", it looks very similar to this piece, but uncertain, as the ad is in black & white. This bracelet is bold, with the nuggets of gold haphazardly placed on the outside. It appears that the larger gold nuggets are enameled. This bracelet is approximately 8 1/4" around and spring loaded with a snap closure, (works perfectly). If you would like more pictures or information, please email or call. Thanks!
