Heisey's Fish bookends were produced for 10 years, from 1942 to 1952. They're solid glass and have excellent detail! This beautiful pair of fish are approximately 6 1/2" in height and 5" in length. These adorable little ducks were produced by Lladro of Spain, well~known for their beautiful, quality porcelain. They were originally issued in 1974 and were retired in 1998. Both pieces were designed by sculptor Julio Fernandez and are hallmarked as shown. Often referred to as a "Kutani" cat, this adorable little fellow was produced by Takahashi and is hallmarked as shown. The sleeping cat, or nemuri neko, is popular and collectible. This is a forward facing cat whose body is an off~white background. He is decorated in rich cobalt, gold and rust chrysanthemum~style flowers and scrolls.
