Called Satin Iris, this exquisite intaglio cutting was done by T.G. Hawkes & Company of Corning, New York and was produced in the 1950's. This is a VERY nice, hard~to~find piece of Fostoria. Dating from 1933 to 1957, Midnight Rose is quite a pretty etch and the first Fostoria etched pattern I ever owned. Tableware and companion pieces may be found on a several different blanks. The vase being offered here is Blank #4112, and, in my opinion, resembles a hurricane glass.
