Wow... talk about hard-to-find candleholders! I've collected elegant and depression candleholders for more than a decade and these are the only Heisey Cabochon candlesticks that I have ever seen! The No. 1951 Cabochons were made only from 1951 to 1953 and were designed by Horace King. The center cabochon is very similar in shape to the advertising sign made in 1948 for use in store displays, which in turn was inspired by the paper label that has been used since 1932...

Offered for your consideration is a gorgeous Heisey console set with the Tea Rose etching. This etching was only used on the items offered here, the Trident candleholders and the Queen Ann console bowl. This etching appears on no other items by Heisey. The Tea Rose etching was introduced in 1940. All three items are in mint condition, with no chips, flakes, fleabites, or other damage of any sort. There is a small mold mark on the bottom of the bowl that is from the manufacturing process...

This pretty pattern is Heisey's #492 King House etch, which was produced from 1937 to 1941. It can only be found on the #1472 Parallel Quarter blank, which consisted only of a console set...bowl and candlesticks.

The footed bowl being offered here is somewhat octagonal in shape and measures approximately 10 3/8" across the rim and 3 3/8" in height. It is free of any nicks, chips or cracks, but does show some very minor signs of usage.

This guy certainly appears to be strutting his stuff, doesn't he? This is Heisey's #1557 Chanticleer vase, also known as just the Rooster vase...one of my favorite "critters". He was produced from 1939 to 1948, stands 6 1/4" in height and is about 6" long.

The glass is nice and clear and the piece is free of any chips or nicks. There are visible straw marks at the vase area, but on this particular piece, those are the norm. A real treasure!
