I love these guys...they make me smile!

The colorings of these wonderful macaw figurines are so vibrant and cheery that they'll brighten up any room.

Made in Japan and incised "Shafford" on the bases (as shown), I believe that these pieces probably date back to the late 1950's or 60's. And though they are basically the same, there are slight differences in shadings which would allow one to use them as a "pair"...

This is another beautiful item which had belonged to my grandmother. Though unmarked, I feel almost certain that this eggshell porcelain cup & saucer were made in Japan and probably date to the 1930's or earlier.

Vibrant pink and purple hand~painted flowers are enhanced by a rich frame of cobalt blue with gold accents...quite captivating!

The cup is approximately 3 3/4" in diameter at the rim and 2" in height, while the saucer is 5 5/8" in diameter...

This stunning piece belonged to my grandmother and I have always admired its outstanding beauty.

I believe that this may be a master berry bowl and would date this piece to around the 1930's. For those of you familiar with Joan Van Patten's markings for Nippon porcelain, this bowl basically bears her #17 backstamp with the exception that it states "Made In Japan" instead of "Nippon", dating the bowl after the Nippon era...

This lovely, hand~painted chocolate set probably dates to around the 40's or 50's and is hallmarked "Shofu Made In Japan" as shown.

The set consists of seven pieces...the pot and lid, which measure approximately 9 1/4" in height with the lid seated, and 6 handled cups which are approximately 2 3/4" in height. All of the pieces are in VERY good condition, only a couple of cups with a bit of roughness on the rims.

This lovely little Dragonware nappy was produced by Fleetwood China and is marked "Made in Occupied Japan", as shown, which dates it from sometime between 1945 and 1952.

Duodecagonal (12~sided) in shape, this piece features the wonderful moriage dragon in the center and is done in the more traditional colors of dragonware. Minute beading along the edge and a small handle complete the presentation...

This pretty little child's tea set is hallmarked as being Nippon, but I'm not so sure that the marking is correct or that the set dates that far back. However, I do believe that the set is from at least the 1950's or 60's, possibly a bit earlier, as the quality of the porcelain is certainly in line with items from that time frame...

This is quite an interesting and unique little item, which I believe is probably from around the 1950's or so.

Still bearing its original "Made In Japan" foil label, this pretty porcelain piece is a combination cigarette holder, match holder and ashtray. It has a loop handle, is hand painted and decorated with lovely dogwood blossoms.

Overall, the piece measures approximately 6 3/4" in length including the handle, 5 3/4" in width and 2 3/4" in height...

This popular creation by Leslie Harradine was produced by Royal Doulton for almost 70 years. Colorful and whimsical, the "Old Balloon Seller", numbered HN1315, is approximately 7 1/2" in height. She is in excellent condition and a nice accompaniment to Doulton "The Balloon Man".

From its styling, I would estimate this lovely berry bowl set dates to somewhere between the 1930's to perhaps the 40's or 50's.

Hallmarked Z.S. & Co. Bavaria, this 7~piece set consists of the master berry bowl and 6 small berry bowls. A soft, shaded green coloring serves as the perfect backdrop for the luscious pink hand painted roses. Gold rims complete the presentation...

The colors in this lovely flower frog are certainly eye~catching! The body of this nude figure is done in a plain, white porcelain. She appears to be posing with a floral covered branch or garland rising from the center of a yellow and amethyst colored lotus~type flower.

This lovely piece is approximately 7 1/2" in height, 4" in length and 3" at the widest point. She is incised on the bottom "Germany" and the number "3943". There is also a red stamp of the number 16...
