This is another beautiful item which had belonged to my grandmother. Though unmarked, I feel almost certain that this eggshell porcelain cup & saucer were made in Japan and probably date to the 1930's or earlier.

Vibrant pink and purple hand~painted flowers are enhanced by a rich frame of cobalt blue with gold accents...quite captivating!

The cup is approximately 3 3/4" in diameter at the rim and 2" in height, while the saucer is 5 5/8" in diameter...

These two pieces were produced by different companies, but make such a nice, decorative presentation that I chose to list them together.

The pottery "float" style bowl was produced by Haeger Potteries. It measures approximately 9 1/2" in diameter and 2 1/4" in height.

The flower frog features a nude "Scarf Dancer" style woman. This piece has eight flower holes and measures approximately 8" in height and 4" wide...

This cute little smoking set was produced by Duncan & Miller and features ashtrays and a covered cigarette box in the shape of ducks.

The cigarette box is approximately 6" in length and 4" wide. The ashtrays are about 4" long and 2 1/4" wide. All of the pieces are free of nicks, chips or cracks and have excellent clarity.

These pieces were not reissued, so you may rest assured that they are original Duncan & Miller.

This stunning piece belonged to my grandmother and I have always admired its outstanding beauty.

I believe that this may be a master berry bowl and would date this piece to around the 1930's. For those of you familiar with Joan Van Patten's markings for Nippon porcelain, this bowl basically bears her #17 backstamp with the exception that it states "Made In Japan" instead of "Nippon", dating the bowl after the Nippon era...

Just how adorable is this guy?? Every time I look at him I get a smile on my face.

Probably dating to the 1950's or so, this happy pink elephant carries the salt & pepper and oil & vinegar for your dining table. It is hand painted, made in Japan, and was produced by Thames China. In fact, it still retains it's original foil label on the belly of the elephant.

The shakers are marked with an S & P while the cruets have an O & V to distinguish their contents...

These beauties are Cambridge's #3900/67 Corinth candlesticks which were produced from 1948 to 1958 and feature the lovely Diane etching.

The base of the candle holders are approximately 5" in diameter and the overall height is about 4". Both are in excellent condition...free of any chips, nicks, cracks or discoloration.

These pieces are versatile and could conceivably be turned upside down and used as comports as well.

Price quoted includes shipping and insurance.

My friends know how much I love relish dishes. I think they're some of the most useful pieces out there!

Cambridge made this particular style of relish dish in two different sizes. This is the #3900/125, the smaller of the two, and it showcases the lovely Chantilly etching.

With its scrolled handles and footed base, this little jewel is 9 1/2" in length across the handles, 5 3/4" in width at the center and 1 5/8" in height at the rim...

Though not as well~known as some of its counterparts, Maryland Glass Company was located in the Cumberland area and was in business from 1918 to 1941. They were mainly a decorating company and produced some truly beautiful designs, such as these water goblets.

Often mistaken for Tiffin's Arcadian, these seem to be commonly referred to as Maryland Glass' "Basket" design...

These adorable little ducks were produced by Lladro of Spain, well~known for their beautiful, quality porcelain. They were originally issued in 1974 and were retired in 1998.

Both pieces were designed by sculptor Julio Fernandez and are hallmarked as shown. This particular hallmark was used from 1977 to 1984 and will date the figurines to that time frame.
