This guy certainly appears to be strutting his stuff, doesn't he? This is Heisey's #1557 Chanticleer vase, also known as just the Rooster vase...one of my favorite "critters". He was produced from 1939 to 1948, stands 6 1/4" in height and is about 6" long.

The glass is nice and clear and the piece is free of any chips or nicks. There are visible straw marks at the vase area, but on this particular piece, those are the norm. A real treasure!

New Martinsville Glass produced these pretty sets in the 30's and 40's. Often you'll see them in other colors, such as amber, red, blue, or green but seldom do you see this pretty pink.

The #15 wine set consists of the decanter with fan style stopper, 6 wine stems and the 10 1/2" tray. With the stopper in place, the decanter is 12" in height while the stems are 4 1/4".

The tray has a couple of little rough spots on the inner rim, but other than that, no imperfections to report...

I'm not sure as to whom I can attribute this intricately etched decanter. I believe that it is more contemporary and very possibly Bohemian. I can also tell you that I have definitely seen matching stemware, so it's possible that you could make a very nice set.

The etching is both attractive and detailed. Overall, the decanter is 8 1/2" in height with the stopper in place. It is in excellent condition...free of chips, nicks, cracks or discoloration. Really a pretty piece.

Versailles is a beautiful scroll and fan etch that was produced by Fostoria from 1928 to 1944. A majority of the tableware pieces will be found on the #2375 Fairfax blank, such as these salad plates.

In the topaz yellow color, the plates measure approximately 7 1/2" in diameter and are in excellent condition. No chips, nicks or cracks are noted and there is only some VERY minimal signs of usage.

Peach colored lustreware finish creates a framework for the hand painted floral design showcased on this lovely plate.

Produced by Noritake and hallmarked in red with the Morimura "M in Wreath", I would guess that this plate dates to the 30's or 40's when lustreware was quite popular.

Two gold decorated handles complete the look of this cake or service plate. It measures 9 3/4" from handle to handle and is in excellent vintage condition.

This listing is for a beautiful pink budvase with a gold rose decoration. The manufacturer of this vase is not known for certain, although it could be Central's No. 1320/168, Morgantown's No. 305 Luana, or a Tiffin blank. Most major glass companies during the depression era made bud vases that were very similar and sometimes they could only be accurately identified by the etching...
