This is one of my favorite hard-to-find etches, and the only reason this vase is being offered for sale is that I have one extra one! The Dunn's Parrot etch is one of the most elegant etchings done in the depression era, and very difficult to find, appearing on only a few glass items. The 10" tall amber bud vase is attributed to the Central Glass Works and is probably their No. 13201/168 blank. Central closed in 1939 so that is the last possible production date for this etching...

There are no chips, flakes, fleabites, or cloudiness to the glass. There is some gold loss to the band on the foot. The unboxed weight of the vase is 1/3 lb...

Listed for your consideration are two beautiful Deco goblets produced by the Morgantown Glass Company between 1970 and 1972. They are in the Hang-Ups pattern (No. 3029) and this is the On-the-Rocks size. They feature a crystal bowl atop a steel blue 3-footed base. The interesting thing about these glasses is that they were made after the Fostoria Glass Company had purchased Morgantown Glass, although the Morgantown plant remained open under that name...

The Lily-of-the-Valley cut pattern was produced by Duncan & Miller Glass Company from 1937 to 1955. Duncan & Miller was bought up by Tiffin Glass Company which produced the pattern under the same name, using the same molds, from 1956 to 1966. The pattern includes a frosted cutting of Lily-of-the-Vally on the DC-4 stem, which has a 3-dimensional arrangement of flowers on the stem (see enlargement photo) which is both unusual and gorgeous...

This is a beautiful 5-part relish tray made by the Tiffin Glass Company. It is etched with the rarely seen Queen Astrid etch, produced from 1927 to 1940. This etch flows gracefully throughout the tray. The tray measures 12.5" long and 9.75" wide. The tray has no chips, flakes, or flea bites and the glass is very clear. Can you say "eye-popping Art Deco WOW"? It is rare to find any pieces of this pattern, and very hard to find a complete console set in mint condition! This is a Tiffin Velva (also listed as Vel-va in some Tiffin catalogs) three-piece console set with single candleholders in the "Frosty Velva" with satin finish. Tiffin Glass Co. made this pattern only from 1937 to 1939. The candleholders each measure 5.25" tall and the flared bowl measures 12 inches in diameter. All three pieces are in mint ...
