Tiffin 5-Part Relish, Queen Astrid Etch

This is a beautiful 5-part relish tray made by the Tiffin Glass Company. It is etched with the rarely seen Queen Astrid etch, produced from 1927 to 1940. This etch flows gracefully throughout the tray. The tray measures 12.5" long and 9.75" wide. The tray has no chips, flakes, or flea bites and the glass is very clear. There is one manufacturer's imperfection: on the underside of one handle is a flattened area that is very smooth. It is shown on the enlargement picture on the left hand side of the photo. What appears to be a line on the handle (looks like a crack but isn't) is the edge of the flattened area. Being that it is on the underside and is perfectly smooth it is not noticeable at all, its just a manufacturing imperfection. Unwrapped weight for this item is 2.5 lb.
